SLAY -- Ski Light Across Yosemite
Three great days with Yu, Alexis and myself, going over the Sierras in the winter. Starting from the gate at the east entrance of the park (Lee Vining) and ending up in Yosemite valley.
We went along Hwy 120 most of the time which made our travel easier and practically foolproof.
Though the weather forecast was mixed, we had the greatest of luck with it, from 3 days of plain sunny and warm to Sunday wake up to 4 inch of new snow and skinny dipping at the end.
It was amazing.
Transportation was the plane to Mammoth Airport, Brendon who hosted us at night and drove us to the trail head, then Yart bus and Amtrak back to the Bay Area.
